Discover Adventure in the 2024 Subaru Crosstrek Wilderness
Subaru has recently introduced the Crosstrek Wilderness trim to the market, giving customers another option if they're looking for durable, rugged vehicles. Many of our customers at Superior Subaru of Houston feel drawn to the Crosstrek because of its relatively compact size and its excellent value, and the Wilderness trim gives them a lot to think about when choosing a new SUV. It's tougher than the other Crosstrek trims, and its many impressive features help it attract attention.
Performance Highlights
A 2.5-liter engine gives the Crosstrek Wilderness 182 horsepower and 178 pound-feet of torque. It's able to tow up to 3,500 pounds around Houston instead of the standard 1,500 pounds. The Subaru team also gave the Wilderness an improved low-speed climbing ability and a stronger rear differential. Further, it has all-wheel drive and a dual-function X-MODE program that lets you select a Deep Snow/Mud setting if you must face tough conditions.
Advanced Safety
Staying safe is always going to be your main priority, and the Crosstrek Wilderness can make it easier to do so as you navigate the roads around Tomball. This Subaru SUV comes with the brand's EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology package, so it has multiple monitoring and mitigation systems that can work in your favor. The package includes frontal collision warning, emergency braking, and lane keeping assist. Plus, Subaru has equipped the Wilderness with blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert, along with reverse automatic braking. Unexpected situations can arise at any point, and that's why it's great that this Crosstrek can play an active role in keeping you out of harm's way.

Exterior & Interior
With its 9.3 inches of ground clearance, the Crosstrek Wilderness has a higher stance than the other trims in the lineup. It looks tough with its black wheels, all-terrain tires, and protective cladding. It's the only Subaru Crosstrek that can feature a Geyser Blue exterior color, which is another element that makes it unique. Like the other Wilderness trims across the Subaru lineup, the Crosstrek Wilderness showcases black roof rails with Anodized Copper accents. It has an anti-glare hood decal and hexagonal LED fog lights, too.
Inside the cabin, you'll find more Anodized Copper accents on the steering wheel and the StarTex seats. Since that StarTex upholstery is water-repellent, feel free to get a bit muddy on your next journey to Spring. You'll appreciate having heated front seats when the temperatures dip in the winter, and the dual-zone automatic climate control makes it easy to stay comfortable. The second row has a nice amount of legroom, and whenever you need to carry larger items, fold the rear seats. If you fold both sides of the 60/40-split rear seatback, you'd have a maximum cargo capacity of nearly 55 cubic feet.

Technology
As you drive the Crosstrek Wilderness around Katy or take it on road trips, you can stay connected to others. It comes standard with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and you'll be able to find a variety of things to listen to since the technology package includes SiriusXM. The vertically-oriented touchscreen measures 11.6 inches, and it's very user-friendly. It can accept voice commands, so your hands can stay safely on the steering wheel. When you're traveling with others, everyone will appreciate all the available USB ports. There can be multiple ports in each of the two rows. You and your passengers can also take advantage of the Wi-Fi capability included with this trim.
