With 25 years of honing and evolving, the sixth generation of the Outback offers exciting new features for the modern driver. The Outback carries on its tradition of offering safety, comfort, quality, and versatility.

Find out what new features you can expect to find for the upcoming 2020 Outback.

As soon as you see the 2020 Outback, it's easy to see the improvements to the exterior that have been made. The side silhouette of the Outback shows off its athletic frame and style. The larger profile panel surfaces give an appearance of ruggedness and extra body cladding. The result is a style that combines both sleek muscularity and an adventurous, active design.

The interior of the 2020 Outback features an updated infotainment system with an 11.6-inch tablet-style, large screen. With advanced functions and an intuitive interface, you can expect that this touchscreen will make for easy access to key functions and while also being highly visible.

The Outback will be available with a 2.4-liter turbocharged BOXER engine for powerful torque output from a low RPM. The other engine option is a 2.5-liter normally aspirated BOXER engine with optimized fuel efficiency with advanced direct-injection technology. The Subaru Global Platform complements the new engine and improves body rigidity, which makes for even better dynamic performance.

The highly sophisticated EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology will continue to come standard for the Outback and will feature extra improvements. This safety system offers the Advanced Adaptive Cruise Control feature that uses a new Lane Centering function for even more safety and convenience.

The new 2020 Outback will be available this fall, but if you don't want to wait that long for a rugged and reliable crossover SUV, then check out our current selection of new Subaru SUVs!
